misty october morning
In the misty morning
before the sun begins to rise
the world seems at peace with itself
right before our eyes.
No raised voices
to spoil our waking day,
just a sheltered silence
and the world seems
a million miles away.
In the misty morning
before the sun begins to rise.
before the sun begins to rise
the world seems at peace with itself
right before our eyes.
No raised voices
to spoil our waking day,
just a sheltered silence
and the world seems
a million miles away.
In the misty morning
before the sun begins to rise.

les travailleurs de la mer
"The great outlines and the great sublimity of nature — the cradle of the ocean, the profile of the mountains, the shade of the forests, the blue of the heavens — are composed of elements of intense discord mingled harmoniously together."- Victor Hugo

bonifacijaus atostogos (vacation of 'bonifacijus')
Bonifacijus- a lion character from an old soviet cartoon. A saying 'Bonifacijaus atostogos' (Vacation of Banifacijus) came from that cartoon indicating a nice, laid-back and/or lazy vacation.

Maternity- B&W
Not sure which saying is a more accurate one to describe maternity: "You are about to have a baby" or "The baby is about to have you". One thing I know for sure, is that having a baby is God's, Nature's, Higher Power's way of saying that the world should go on... Congratulations to Erin & Kassie!

vote for Derrick promotional piece
My husband Derrick entered a competition through Cannondale to win a trip to France. I helped him to promote his application video by creating these flyers so he could take them to the climbing gym...

"And following its path, we took no care
To rest, but climbed: he first, then I-- so far,
Through a round aperture I saw appear
Some of the beautiful things that Heaven bears,
Where we came forth, and once more saw the stars."
~Dante Alighieri (The Inferno)
